Our companies will also take part in a highly organized mentorship curriculum designed to ensure your team gets the specific guidance and area expertise when it’s most important. Our program is pragmatic and intended to create lasting value for your company. In other words, we aren't building an incubation machine; Amplify is a nurturing engine that will make you better entrepreneurs and make your companies more valuable. That's a promise.

Amplify is recruiting the most talented, hard working and visionary entrepreneurs to participate in our 4 month accelerator program. We aren't the same old accelerator, so don't be the same old startup.

We feature a rolling curriculum, companies can apply and be admitted at any time. In addition to traditional foundational support and discounted services, Amplify members will receive:

  • Up to $50k in seed capital and the opportunity for follow-on support
  • Dedicated office space with VIP access to community workshops and events
  • Hands-on, weekly mentor meetings with seasoned entrepreneurs
  • 3-year hiatus on city taxes.

Community

We are currently renovating the historic building at 1600 Main Street in Venice CA, 90291 designed by famous architect Steven Ehrlich. The 10,000 square foot property, where part of the Venice roller coaster once stood, will soon be a central hub for LA’s tech scene. When finished, our facility will be home to dozens of startups and a nucleus of tech entrepreneurship.

Amplify Campus on Google Maps

Think of it as a campus rather than an office; from that perspective it’s hard not to imagine the collective mindshare at Amplify shining above any other startup initiative in Los Angeles. Hundreds of community members will enjoy the best and most affordable coworking space in Los Angeles.

Expect to see a lot more information, announcements and exciting news in the coming months as we formalize our community programs.

Expect a wide range of high quality events and ongoing educational curriculum designed to teach entrepreneurship to everyone and foster innovation for years to come.

From one-on-one workshops with seasoned entrepreneurs looking to give back to the community to panels and nightly events designed to bring the best, brightest and most interesting people together.

About

Amplify itself is a startup, run by an incredible team of entrepreneurs and visionaries. We expect to benefit from the community we’re building as much as our members will. For us, making a real impact in the Los Angeles startup ecosystem is at the heart of our strategy.

  1. Our physical space is a real community - not a room with desks

  2. Our mentor program is highly organized and pragmatic - they will spend real time with you

  3. Our management team works “in” the companies - not investors looking to increase their wealth on your back

  4. We are tightly connected to media and entertainment in Los Angeles - not hustlers who know the usual suspects

  5. Our investor network is extraordinary in LA and far beyond - not just a few big names
