It has been a busy start to 2026 here at Amplify. Since our announcement of Alex Rubalcava merging his firm, Stage Venture Partners, we’ve had a full docket of updates from the portfolio.

Mogul, a platform that brings transparency and automation to music royalty management, announced a $5M funding round after tracking more than $1.5 billion in music royalties on its platform. As the music industry continues to evolve, Mogul is helping artists, labels, and rights holders better manage complex royalty flows with modern infrastructure and data tools. Read more in TechCrunch.
Manta Health, an Intelligent Coverage Platform for specialty practices, announced its $1.3M pre-seed round led by Amplify. Manta is focused on reducing the administrative burden surrounding coverage verification and revenue protection, helping practices confirm coverage faster, reduce avoidable denials, and minimize reimbursement delays.
InHouse, one of Alex’s portfolio companies at Stage, raised $5m to grow its legal services AI product for small businesses. Using purpose-built, attorney-trained AI, InHouse instantly drafts routine documents and solves issues for small companies that would cost ten times more and take weeks using standard means, freeing up lawyers to focus on larger, more complex matters for their clients. If you have a small business, check out InHouse today!

Volley rebrands to Weekend. Weekend makes interactive, AI-powered games that families play together on their TVs — Jeopardy, karaoke, trivia, dungeon crawlers, and more. Voice AI is the skeleton key that finally makes television interactive after fifty years of the same janky remote. And they're just getting started. Same team. Same mission. Better name.
SafeRide Health was recognized with the 2026 MedTech Breakthrough Award for Healthcare Analytics Innovation, highlighting the company’s leadership in using data-driven insights and AI to improve healthcare access and transportation outcomes. The award reflects SafeRide’s continued impact in advancing more reliable, transparent, and efficient non-emergency medical transportation services for patients and healthcare organizations nationwide. SafeRide now orchestrates over 1M rides per month for major health systems across the US.
GrayMatter Robotics, a Stage company that makes advanced robotics for high mix tasks, hosted customer signings and innovation demonstrations with a number of blue chip companies in early 2026, including Caterpillar and Huntington Ingalls Industries. CEO Ariyan Kabir also appeared on the widely watched TBPN podcast discussing the market for physical AI and robotics.

Paul and Alex recently appeared on the Meb Faber Show (episode on YouTube, Apple, Spotify) to talk about the future of SaaS companies in a world upended by AI. Their appearance, recorded at the end of March and released in early April, coincided with a time of maximum fear in the public markets about the future of SaaS. Paul and Alex shared with Meb a thesis for identifying the companies likely to survive and thrive in the new world of AI, and the laggards likely to be left behind.
