Supporting Our Community During the LA Fires

Dear LA Neighbors and Friends,

I hope this email finds you all safe. As the fires continue to affect our communities in Los Angeles, we want to share some resources to support those impacted and ways we can help.

We understand that not everyone receiving this email is based in LA, but if you know anyone affected by the fires in the area, please feel free to forward these resources to them.

Resource List:

This list is organized by neighborhood in LA where there are donation centers located and what items they are in need of — it can seem overwhelming but it’s meant to provide options for everyone regardless of the region in LA where they live.

The Mutual Aid LA Network (MLAN) is maintaining a comprehensive list of resources available to those affected by the fires. This Google Sheet is updated daily with new resources, calls for volunteers, and donation information.

Our Doors Are Open:

Our office is located in Venice and is open to those who need a place to go. Please reach out to us for any assistance or support you may need.

Online Donation Options:

For those outside of LA who would like to donate online, we also want to highlight the following organizations:

  • LA Fire Dept Foundation: Supporting firefighters and first responders (Donate Here).

  • Baby2Baby: Providing essential items to children and families displaced by the fires (Donate Here).

  • Red Cross: Offering emergency shelter and relief services (Donate Here). If you or someone you know needs assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Let’s come together to support our community during this challenging time. If you or someone you know needs assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Stay safe,
